Work Hard, Play Hard

There are a lot of opportunities at Susquehanna for students to get jobs on-campus. Working a steady job while taking classes looks great on a resume, can give you the chance to gain experience related to your major, and can fill your wallet with just enough spending money to go out to dinner or buy the cute clothes at the book-store. I am one of those students who was lucky enough to find a job on-campus that provided me with all of those benefits.

I work as a supervisor of Susquehanna University's Outreach Team. This is a team put together by the admissions office that connects current students with high school students interested in attending our university. We call prospective students and provide them with honest, real life experiences and testimonies of our lives on-campus as well as give them tips and information on everything from visiting to applying to getting ready to attend SU. I love my at the admissions office. It is really fun to be able to connect with students that are going through the same experiences that I did 4 years ago during my college search.

Here is a picture of me at work. Just because I love my job does not mean that it is easy. Coffee is my go-to when I start to get stressed or tired!
